William Wilkins CBE Private Residential Customer
Just Lime provided excellent advice that saved money and delivered a first class result. They consolidated a section of lath ceiling after it was water damaged, and then lime plastered the entire ceiling.
The craftsmanship is excellent and they have the added advantage of appearing when they say they will and delivering on time.
Mr & Mrs MacDougall Private Residential Customer
After seeing the great job Just Lime did on a cob house in our village we approached Paul to ask his advice regarding our damp cellar. The floor was made up of broken brick and earth and was in a very poor state of repair and this rendered the space unusable.
He advised us to replace the floor with limecrete – which is a breathable and insulated surface – and to reuse as many of the original bricks as possible.
After listed planning had been granted the work was completed by Paul and his team. They completed the job speedily with minimal disruption. As removal of the surface entailed hauling brick and rubble and earth up out of the cellar across the dining room to the skip outside there was potential for a great deal of mess – however this was achieved tidily and with no scars!
The men were friendly and polite. They worked hard and cleaned up very well after them. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and understands how old houses need to be treated to safeguard them for the future. He has a passion for the job which you seldom see these days.
As a result of their work we now have a very usable dry cellar. We would certainly recommend this company to anyone who has a house which needs to be handled with care.
Mr D Baker WRW Sub-Contracting for Private Residential
WRW Construction employed Just Lime on the refurbishment of a Grade II listed house in Carmarthenshire. Their expertise in lime plastering was extremely valuable as we had a full range of services that required their expertise (from internal Cork insulation plaster, lath and plaster repairs, Limecrete floors, as well as the replication of some ornate ceiling roses). They were also valuable in preparing the specification for the works. Their workmanship was of a high standard.

The project involved the lime render and application of mineral paint to 5 bedroom detached house.
Paul and the Just Lime team have done a fantastic job. I have been impressed by their punctuality and professionalism throughout the project including accommodating delays caused by other trades who have let me down.
I have no hesitation in recommending Paul Walters and the Just Lime team.
Dr J Kingham Church
Just Lime has been responsible for the successful restoration of the nave and tower of the mediaeval church of St Illtyd's in Ilston, Gower. This involved external repointing and internal rendering with lime plaster along with replacement Bath stone copings to the parapet.
Paul Walters and his friendly team provided sound advice and professional workmanship throughout and their enthusiasm for ancient buildings is reflected in the quality of their work.
The church council was very happy with the quality of the work and was pleased to recommend Just Lime for another Gower church restoration project at St John's, Penmaen.
