Situated on the edge of the Brecon national park, the church had severe internal damp problems, partly due to a cement damp-proofing render that was applied. This was removed and some localised external pointing carried out to a few areas that had eroded.
All the internal cement render was removed and re-plastered in lime putty plaster with horse hair. Finished in a light yellow ochre limewash. No damp problems since.
